This month at Hillylaid has seen a few changes, first of all the tree that stood next to the up side’s access gate has been removed leaving the surrounding area much more pleasing to the eye. 

On the other side of the road we have received our grant from Lancashire County Councilor Jim Lawrenson.

The materials have now arrived and our volunteers are painting them at the station prior to their installment at the crossing. 

Meanwhile the post holes are being dug ready for the fence posts and we are strengthening the land surrounding the drain that has been flooding recently.
